Choquequirao - Final Trek

Choquequirao Trek 4 days

The trek to the Choquequirao royal Inca site will create unforgettable memories as you hike along the majestic Apurimac Canyon trail with stunning views of snow-capped mountains and come in contact with the biodiversity of flora and fauna at different elevations.

The most common animals are spectacled bears and condors. There will be plenty of time to hike and observe the wilderness as you enjoy the trek to the lost city of the Inca, a remote archeological site seldom visited by tourists. The remote location of the Choquequirao archaeological site is beautiful, mysterious and charming. This trek package starts from the Choquequirao Guest House located in the heart of Cachora, a quaint Quechua village. Treks are customized for small private or shared groups and we provide all food and lodging along the Choquequirao trek, including staying with a host family each night. Our trek is unique as it is organized by local families and you will experience Quechua culture first hand.

The Choquequirao 4 days trek include two nights in our Choquequirao Guest House (hotel) with breakfast included. The guest house is owned and operated by a Quechua family that has lived in Cachora or Choquequirao for 5 generations, since the 1860’s. Transportation from Cusco or Abancay is not included with the 4-day package (we can arrange a transfer to Cachora for an extra fee or you can look at our map and arrive on your own).
